QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

How long do I have to decide whether or not I want to accept a price offered for a flight?

You must book immediately to receive the offered ticket price. A long term “right” to a quoted ticket price does not exist. If you are not able to decide immediately then you must submit a new request.

I’ve already booked a flight with you, why didn’t you keep my credit card details on file?

For your safety we do not save personal information. We are therefore preventing any misuse of the information.

How far in advance of my departure do I need to be at the airport?

You normally need to be at the airport and in possession of your boarding pass at least 45 minutes before departure of your flight. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that you will get on the flight if you arrive at the check-in counter past the check-in deadline. The exact check-in deadlines for each airport are listed under Check-in times.

What happens if my hand luggage or clothes get lost or damaged in the cabin?

You are responsible for the hand luggage and the clothes that you bring with you into the cabin. Cirrus Airlines accepts no liability. Cirrus Airlines will only accept liability if it can be proven that the damage caused was the fault of Cirrus Airlines, according to section 15.3.3 of our Conditions of Carriage. In that case please contact directly our flight attendants. Only they are able to document the damage.

My luggage has been damaged, who do I contact?

If your luggage has been damaged, please go directly to the Lost and Found Office at the airport to report the incident. If you do not discover the damage until later then we kindly request that you send a statement in writing within 7 days of your flight to the following department:

Is it possible for children to travel alone without a parent or guardian?

Children between the ages of 5 and 11 are permitted to fly on Cirrus Airlines flights without being accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian.
Because extra services are required by the airline personnel, a fee of 40 euro per flight will be charged.
A flight attendant will be responsible for the supervision of the child during the flight and an appointed airline agent will be responsible for the child while on the ground before take-off and after landing.
Adolescents who are 12 years of age pay a youth fare and do not require supervision.
A request for this service should be made when booking the flights.  Flights can be booked by calling our reservations hotline at
+49 (0) 180 55 44 005 (0,14 € / minute out of the German fixed-line network) or by sending an email reservations@cirrusairlines.de. Please indicate your reservations code.

Can pets be transported?

Small dogs and cats up to 8kg, including a portable, waterproof, lockable box, can be transported in the passenger cabin free of charge. The number of animals permitted per flight is limited to two.
For more details about the transportation of pets please call our reservations hotline at: +49 (0) 180 55 44 005 (0,14 € / minute out of the German fixed-line network) or send an email to reservations@cirrusairlines.de.
We would like to make you aware of the fact that flying for pets is an unfamiliar situation. Please consider carefully whether or not it is a good idea to subject your four-legged friend to this experience.

What are the regulations concerning people with disabilities?

Persons with physical and/or mental disabilities are able to fly on Cirrus Airlines flights. Please call our reservations hotline on +49 (0) 180 55 44 005 (0,14 € / minute out of the German fixed-line network)  or send an e-Mail to reservations@cirrusairlines.de
